In the Techno mix
After Dopplereffekt, Adult & Fisherspooner, here comes A Touch of Class, bringing us the best of the 80s revival and the electro sound. For more infos, check their website.
Cristian Vogel delivers his own mixture of fugitive electronics. A set that brings together some of his old stuff (« Tales From the Heart » - Force Inc, « All Music Has Come To And End » - Tresor, « Partials » - Magnetic North) with tracks from his last album, Rescate 137, released on Novamute in september. As the man says, there is no future after this.
For his second mix for Wsound, Lowran plays his favourite german tracks, with a deep influence from Detroit. Get lost in his hypnotic atmosphere ;-)
Straight from the south of France, Djinx is a DJ/producer working on labels such as Serial, So True or Deep Touch. He remixed the like of Sebastien Leger, Ron Caroll or David Duriez.
John Acquaviva is the co founder of Plus 8 with Plastikman, probably the
best electronic music label in Windsor, and beyond. This set is pretty
nostalgic and features lots of tunes you can find on the next compilation of
the label simply called "Classics". Something to remind you of the good old
days, or for the pleasure of discovering.
Josh Wink is an international recognized dj. This mix was recorded live in a party near Paris earlier this year and features a mixture of old and new tracks dancefloor orientated. Not the kind of stuff you would hear on Ovum, home of the true electro soul don King Britt. One for the techno freaks.
Spectrum is a duo of djs from the south of France. “Welcome to the Robotikoclub” is a mixtape recorded live at Diego’s (who is Diego, that we have no idea), and goes in between techno and electro, without losing strength.
With Miss Kittin or Oxia, the Hacker stands among the most respected french techno producers (his solo album “Mélodies en Sous Sol”, out last year on Goodlife recordings), approved in Germany where they know what techno is about. This mix translates his taste for electro. And for more infos, check his interview and the review of his debut album.
