And that should give a new perspective on his futuristic soundscapes (his last musical trip is called “3”, out on the excellent Versatile label). The London based swiss-moroccan Alex Attias is one of Wsound favourite producers. And we might have waited a little while for this mix, but it was definetly worthit. The owner of the Visions label, offers a dynamic West London style mix, with half underground classics (like Victor Duplaix’s Manhood) and upcoming tracks, a cocktail of rare beats and spaced out grooves. We all know the Dr Rockit, aka Mathhew Herbert, can make a kitchen sound funky. But as you will discover by listening to this mix made for the radio, which contains excerpts of his new compilation “Junior Doctor Rockit”, he’s actually come out of his house and is off on the streets. Josh Wink is an international recognized dj. This mix was recorded live in a party near Paris earlier this year and features a mixture of old and new tracks dancefloor orientated. Not the kind of stuff you would hear on Ovum, home of the true electro soul don King Britt. One for the techno freaks.
